Lagercrantz Group: Lagercrantz acquires Oy Esari Ab

Lagercrantz Holding Oy has today entered into an agreement to acquire the Finnish company Oy Esari Ab.

Esari is one of Finland's leading providers of equipment shelters and technical buildings. The customers are primarily telecommunications operators, the energy and technology industries as well as government agencies. Esari generates annual revenue of approximately MEUR 5 with good profitability. For a presentation of the company, please visit www.esari.fi.

"Esari will further strengthen Lagercrantz's position and offer within enclosures and equipment shelters. It will complement Lagercrantz's business Elkapsling and its product range and we see excellent potential for growth in each country with a broader offer," comments Jörgen Wigh, President and CEO of Lagercrantz Group.

"Lagercrantz is the strategic and long-term owner that can further develop Esari's operations with the great know-how in Kaustinen as a base and strengthen the company's position abroad," says Ari Rauma, CEO and joint owner of Esari.

Esari will become part of the Mechatronics division in January 2021. The acquisition is expected to generate a small positive addition to the Group's earnings per share.
